Walking tour of Old Baku. We will visit the inner city of the XII century, which is called Icheri Sheher. Old Baku has kept most of its protective wall. While walking through its ancient streets you will see the Maiden Tower of the XII century, the palace of the Shirvanshahs of the XV century, the Castle of Synyk Gala, Caravanserai and Juma Mosque.

However, Diri Baba himself is not inferior to his ruler - the tomb is a place of pilgrimage, because it lies imperishable saint, who fulfills the deepest desires of anyone who visits this place. Azerbaijan Petra is striking with the intertwining of natural landscapes and craftsmanship of human hands, which turned this place into a shrine.
Juma Mosque. After Diri Baba Mausoleum, we will go to Shamakha and see the oldest mosque in the entire Caucasus and the Middle East - the Juma Mosque, or "Friday Mosque", as its name is translated. This majestic mos has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, making it a symbol of the endurance and resilience of the Azerbaijani people. You will learn about the roles of the Friday mosques played in the East, enjoy the restrained and therefore even more elegant architectural decoration of the mosque, and see the ruins of the very first building, dating back to the 18th century.
